Our vendors use their shops page as their main website for their business. Many have kept their old domains and have just routed them to their shop with us! Here you are able to list all of your products, and include a Call to Action footer where you can add a link to a survey, sale items or your own email list.
Your own shop page on TVM
We want to provide a community of support for local artisans like yourself. That's why as a TVM vendor, you can join our vendor's only Facebook group to make connections with other makers and have quick communication with the TVM admin team.
Access to our Vendor Community
Sales Platform with a Unique Algorithm
Our unique algorithm focuses on bringing our vendors local sales. When a shopper searches for a product on our site, results are populated by vendor shop instead of individual product, and are sorted by relative location. What this means is shoppers will be recommended vendors that are closest to them first.
Admin services
TVM automatically prompts customers for reviews shortly after their purchase, we advertise for holiday shopping and handle all of the communication with the website developers, meaning you have more time to focus on your business.

Annual Membership
Not in Calgary? Keep scrolling!TVM doesn't believe in taking commission, so we don't. Simple as that. Instead you pay a $350 (plus GST) Annual Membership fee (12 months) so you can pocket the rest of your profit. With this membership you also get to advertise directly to our Facebook Shopping Group of over 26,000 Calgarians that love to shop locally!
We are looking at trying to set up a shorter commitment time from you, resulting in lower upfront fees, but at the moment, as a small business ourselves, it’s not something we can manage yet. BUT, if you need a payment plan, reach out, we are happy to work with you!
Calgary and Surrounding Area
Outside of Calgary? Read on for the package for you!
If you’re outside of Calgary and new to our community you may be interested to use us simply as a community of vendors and an alternative to a website, you can choose our annual option of $150. This does not give you the option to advertise within our Facebook group, but it gives you all the other perks. Please note this option is not available to vendors that have advertised in our Facebook Group previously.
Referral Program
Do you have friends that also sell handmade products? For every new vendor you refer, you get a $50 credit towards your fees for the next membership year. The new vendor only has to put your business name in the text field on the registration form.
Transaction fees via Stripe
All purchases at TVM are processed through stripe. The maximum a vendor pays in transaction fees is 2.9%+$0.30. We have an agreement with Stripe that all transactions made by our vendors count as one company. That means as more transactions are made, the transaction fees lower for EVERY vendor.
