Empowering Communities

Hi everyone!

We talked last week about the grant we've been approved for from Alberta Innovates. It's super exciting to let you all know that we've been moving forward on using that grant to grow and continue supporting the community. We completed our first milestone of doing an automations review with Jessica Patton and it was fantastic. As we continue to grow and expand, we want to make sure we aren't dropping any balls; that you're consistently receiving the service you've come to enjoy from this space. I'm really excited about the recommendations from Jessica.

Becca and I have already starting implementing these changes to make our day to day operations smoother. Exciting stuff! Its also really amazing to get money from our province and be able to use it to better our business while also hiring another local small business and putting the money back in to our community. But that's the beauty of shopping small isn't it? That when you do, they do and the money stays where you live. You from home, shop from a small business. They get that money. They invest in a membership here. I get that money and invest in other small businesses...

I think it's important to highlight that when you shop here, your money goes way further than the product you buy from that one shop. We have built something really special here together.
